On your GPS enter Bairnsdale - when you reach Bairnsdale - enter 42 Great Alpine Road, Lucknow  -  or

Travelling from Lakes Entrance - turn right at roundabout to Great Alpine Road.  Approx. 500m turn right into service road and entrance.

Travelling from Melbourne - drive through town centre, across Mitchell River bridge and up to roundabout, via left to Great Alpine Road & 500m turn right into service road as above.

Travelling from Wangaratta/ Bright and Bruthen on Great Alpine Road, go through first roundabout with the Bairnsdale Sporting & Convention Centre on the right, then 500m on left turn into service road as above.

There are many places to choose from when dining out, it is just 2 minutes to our favourite restaurants include Punjabi Garden (Indian), Lantern Palace (Chinese), River Grill and the historical Grand Terminus Hotel. Other great eating places are the various clubs, pubs and entertainment centres. For a Weekend Treat, drive 20 minutes   east to the rustic home on the hill "Over the Hedge" on corner of Highway and turn off to  Metung a culinary delight and the views are great.  We are truly blessed with culinary delights.

  • Or bring your bike and join the rail trail to Bruthen and enjoy a delicious treat from the bakery. For the more energetic you can continue along to Orbost just 90 kms away.
